Humanities 1 begins with Ancient Civilizations and covers Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Middle Ages, and the Early Renaissance.

Humanities 2 starts with the High Renaissance and continues to the present.  Both classes will investigate how human’s way of life influenced the arts, and how the arts in return influences humans.  We will focus on men and women who made substantial contributions to humanity.  Material is shared through class activities, printed text, web sites, research opportunities, and student presentation.
