Board Game Club - Ms. Young

Board Game Club meets Monday’s from 2:30 - 3:00 in room 509.  Join to play a wide selection of board games.

 

Band Club - Mrs. Kuchta

Upperclassmen instrumentalists volunteer to tutor/mentor EMS musicians on their same instrument.  Upperclassmen will help fundamental musicianship skills, concert music, and prepare for an additional performance opportunity as a larger ensemble.

 

Cookie Club - Mrs. McClellan

Students will make different types of cookies after school a couple of times a month in the Foods Lab.

 

Crochet Club - Ms. Flannigan

Crochet club welcomes students of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced crafters.  We are a diverse community brought together by a shared love for creating.  While crochet requires patience to master, it offers a relaxing and fulfilling lifelong hobby.

 

DECA - Mrs. Roberts

Distributive Educational Club of America is a co-curricular organization of marketing students.  Students participate in competitions and some community service projects.

 

Diversity Club / Prism - Ms. Smith

Diversity Club values sharing culture within our school so that we can understand the background and interests of fellow students.

 

ESports Club - Mr. Masters

Esports (Electronic Sports) is a competitive extracurricular activity that challenges gamers to work together towards a common goal.  This club emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and communication as students compete in organized matches.  Participants are expected to attend team meetings, scheduled practices, and official competitions.  Beyond the screen, Esports fosters community, lasting friendships, and social growth.  Whether you are a competitive gamer or just have an interest in the industry, there is a place for you in Franklin Esports.

 

Faith Club - Ms. Atwood

This club sparks conversations around the basics of human faiths while holding space for unique questions and doubts.

 

Franklin Players - Colleen Meyer

The Franklin Players are a student acting troupe that perform a play in the fall, and a musical production in the spring.  This group is open to all students with a drive to be in the spotlight or work behind the scenes.

 

Guitar Club - Mr. O’Leary

Any guitarist from beginner to more advanced players will learn how to hold a guitar properly and learn the basics of chord/music theory.  We will help you grow as a musician in whatever area you have interest in.  Together we create songs to show all players that it is easy to create music and how fun it can be.

 

Here4You - Ms. Carey

Here4You is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and well-being.  Members will learn to identify common mental health struggles and develop healthy, effective strategies to counteract them.  The club focuses on fostering a culture of kindness and well-being, both for the individual and the wider community.  Join us as we work together to build a supportive environment where every student feels seen and heard.

 

Patriots Relate - Ms Carey and Ms. Hoch

Patriots Relate is a premier mentoring program dedicated to supporting the freshmen class throughout their first year.  Mentors are chosen through a rigorous selection process that includes a formal application and interview, ensuring only the most qualified leaders are paired with incoming students.

 

Quiz Bowl - Mr. Reina

The Quiz Bowl team will put their trivia knowledge against other schools.  Students will practice one day a week and there will be a competition after school each month from October to March.  The last tournament will be an all area tournament, where the top teams will earn trophies.
