Applying to College

Here are some basic tips to get you started.  Please feel free to contact your counselor if you need more information.

Option One:  Common Application  

• Allows you to apply to multiple schools at once

• You complete general info about yourself only once 

• You provide your counselors email and we upload transcripts and letters of recommendation if needed

• You provide your teacher recommenders’ email addresses and they upload their letters if required

• Send SAT and AP scores directly to the college through your COLLEGE BOARD account

Option Two: Apply Directly Through The College Website

• Go to the college website: schoolcraft.edu, gvsu.edu, cmich.edu
• Complete online application and pay application fee
• Send transcripts through your PARCHMENT account
• Send SAT and AP scores directly to the college through your COLLEGE BOARD account
