Attending college is the goal for the majority of students after they graduate from high school.  College Graduates on average earn more,  less likely to be unemployed, and have more security in regards to living independently due to earning a college degree.  

Knowing that you want to go to college is not the hard part though.  Sometimes, the hardest part about college is just deciding what college you will attend after you graduate from high school. From talking to college recruiters and visiting college fairs to actually visiting college campuses, a lot of things go into making an informed decision about where you should go to college after you graduate.
